Installation

To install the KoalogTM product XXX from its jar file XXX-setup.jar, simply type in a shell:

java -jar XXX-setup.jar

and follow the instructions.

Refer to product XXX online documentation for more details about the installation process (for example, to install product XXX in batch mode).

License

In order to run product XXX you need a valid license file, which will be shipped to you by email.

The license file (for example, license.lic) has to be copied in your home directory under the .XXX directory. If you do not know where your home directory is located, just launch product XXX. You will be prompted for the license file, which will be copied automatically in the proper location (<HOME_DIRECTORY>/.XXX/license.lic).

For example, if you are using Koalog Code CoverageTM (also known as kover) and if your home directory is /home/john, then the location of the license file will be /home/john/.kover/license.lic.

If you upgrade your evaluation license to a regular/commercial license, just replace the license file.

Running

If applicable (if XXX is an application and not a library), the installation has created a bin directory which contains scripts that you will use to launch product XXX. Refer to product XXX online documentation for more details about the scripts.
